Rovagnati Sliced Hot Soppressata is the pre-sliced tray format of the Hot Soppressata, delivering the same southern Italian-rooted spiced salami in a ready-to-serve format. The product is built from a coarser grind of pork than the Milano or Napoli styles, with a bold flavor profile driven by sweet pepper, white pepper, and paprika, the last of which contributes both heat and the salami’s deep, brick-toned color throughout the slice. The spice combination produces a strong, intense character that runs through the meat rather than sitting only on the exterior. Like the bulk version, it contains no added nitrites, with curing achieved through fruit extracts and a lactic acid starter culture in place of synthetic preservatives. Produced in Italy at Rovagnati’s USDA-certified plant and sold pre-sliced in tray format.
