Rovagnati Sliced Napoli Salami is the pre-sliced tray format of the Salame Napoli, delivering the same Campania-rooted dry-cured salami in a ready-to-serve format. The product is built from two distinct grinds, lean brick red meat and white fat, producing the coarser, more open texture that distinguishes the Napoli style from the finer-grained Milano. The flavor is peppery and assertive, seasoned with both black and white pepper and garlic, balanced by an underlying sweetness that develops through the slow curing process under the daily oversight of a Master Salami Specialist. Like the bulk version, it contains no added nitrites, relying on fruit extracts, lemon and chicory fibers, and a lactic acid starter culture for curing. Produced in Italy at Rovagnati’s USDA-certified plant and sold pre-sliced in tray format.
