Meet Chef Mandi

Lowcountry Bella (Mandi Casey) is Italian by birth and Southern by choice. Growing up in eastern North Carolina, she quickly discovered new flavors like smoky BBQ and hush puppies, delights far different from her Italian roots. Today, she embraces both cultures, blending tradition and creativity in her kitchen.

Mandi splits her time between Pawleys Island and Fort Mill, South Carolina, where family and food remain at the heart of her life. With a growing family ( grandkids), she finds joy in having more people to cook for, gather with, and love.

Beyond creating recipes, Mandi has a passion for uncovering the history behind food. She believes that understanding flavors and ingredients deepens not only her creativity but also her appreciation for every meal.

She is a frequent guest at food events and book signings, often giving back by donating a portion of her time to local charities. Her second cookbook, Mangia Y’all – Make Everyday Delicious, released July 19, 2025, and continues her mission of inspiring others to celebrate life through food. Mandi also teaches pasta-making classes, bringing hands-on Italian tradition into homes and local businesses alike.
