LUIGI LEONE OPENS HIS FIRST CONFECTIONERY IN ALBA
It all began in 1857, when in a confectionery near Alba, Luigi Leone began producing small, fragrant digestive pastilles to delight his loyal customers at the end of their meals. The very first flavors? Mint, cinnamon, and cloves. At that time, Italy was not yet united, but Leone pastilles were already a hit with everyone!
